Faults, Symptoms & Repair Options
The V12 GTC4Lusso has a front power-transfer unit for its four-wheel-drive system. The rear-wheel-drive Lusso T does not have that PTU, so the distinction is essential when discussing transmission problems.

Report a 4WD warning or restricted driving mode. Check the PTU fluid circuits and distinguish the front unit from the rear DCT before discussing repair scope.
V12 GTC4Lusso / Lusso T rear seven-speed DCT
Ferrari provides seal, casing and filter leak-repair procedures for this seven-speed DCT. [2]
Identify the fluid and exact leak location first. A stain on the undertray does not establish whether a seal repair, another component or internal gearbox work is needed.
Selected 2017–2020 V12 / 2018–2020 Lusso T
Ferrari recalled selected cars for a reservoir-cap venting defect. [3]
Confirm the cap/software campaign by VIN. A low-fluid warning or altered pedal feel needs immediate assessment; topping up alone is not a completed repair.
GTC4Lusso variants
Inspect dampers, suspension play and steering alignment. Send the warning and tyre-wear photos; an electronic chassis message alone does not identify a failed damper.
A documented fault is not a prediction for every car. These checks depend on the VIN, engine, equipment and service history. Recall references may describe US-market vehicles; confirm Canadian applicability and completion with the manufacturer. Recall remedies are arranged through its authorized network.
No front PTU is fitted to the rear-wheel-drive Lusso T. The V12 four-wheel-drive model has the separate front unit. Both versions still need diagnosis of their rear DCT and other drivetrain components when symptoms appear.
