Will using an independent shop void my VW factory warranty?
No. Canadian consumer law protects your right to service your vehicle at a qualified independent shop without voiding the factory warranty, as long as the work is done to manufacturer specification and proper records are kept. We document everything to that standard.
How does your pricing compare to the VW dealer?
Always lower. Typical customer savings run from 25% up to 60% or more versus the local VW dealer, depending on the job. Same OEM parts (or OE-quality equivalents like Bosch, Mahle, Bilstein, Lemforder), faster turnaround, and we do not push add-on work.
Do you tune GTI, Golf R, and Jetta GLI?
Yes. Performance VWs are one of our specialties. We work with APR, Unitronic, and Revo on EA888 (1.8T / 2.0T TSI), Stage 1 through Stage 3 plus DSG / S-tronic tuning. Milltek and AWE exhaust install and IS38 turbo upgrades done in-house.
Can you do timing chain work on TSI engines?
Yes. Timing chain tensioner failure on 1.8T and 2.0T TSI (EA888) is a common issue we see every week. We replace the tensioner, chain, guides, and seals to factory spec with a new water pump and thermostat. Most customers save 30-40% versus the dealer.
Do you do TDI service and emissions repair?
Yes. We work on all common-rail TDI engines: EA189, EA288, and the V6 TDI in Touareg. EGR, DPF, AdBlue, intake cleaning — full diagnostic and repair, with ODIS documentation.
Do you offer pickup, drop-off, or shuttle service?
Yes. We arrange local pickup and drop-off within Kitchener-Waterloo for most service visits and have shuttle service available during your appointment. Mention it when you book.
