991 with relevant seven-speed PDK
Specialist repairs document internal shift-position sensor faults in seven-speed PDK units. [2]
A gearbox warning or loss of gears requires fault-led diagnosis. Check the transmission type before discussing a sensor repair; this is not a blanket eight-speed PDK diagnosis.
PADM-equipped Carrera models

Confirm that the vehicle has PADM and read its specific faults. Separate sensor, wiring and mechanical mount problems rather than treating every vibration as the same failure.
991 / 992 Carrera
