Ferrari the way it should be serviced
We have been working on Ferrari for over two decades. Your car will be looked at by a technician who has seen the platform before, knows the common failure points, and does the work to factory spec.
Ferrari ownership in Kitchener-Waterloo means a long drive to the nearest factory dealer in the Toronto area. Major service is quoted at five figures, F1 transmission work runs into more, and the wait for an appointment is measured in weeks.
We are a faster, lower-cost path that does not cut corners. Our technicians are factory-trained Ferrari specialists. We run Ferrari SD3 / Leonardo diagnostic platforms on every job. We use genuine OEM parts sourced through the Ferrari network in Europe and North America. And we usually book the work in within a week or two for major service.
From a routine annual service on a 488 GTB to a major belt service on a 458 Italia, from an F1 transmission repair to a custom Akrapovic exhaust install, your Ferrari leaves here ready for the road. Every job is backed by our 24-month labour warranty.

Why Ferrari owners switch to us
Why Ferrari Owners Across Ontario Choose Foreign Automotive
Closer than Toronto. For K-W and southwestern Ontario owners, we are the closest factory-trained Ferrari shop.
Faster booking. Most service goes in within a week or two. Toronto dealer waits can stretch much longer.
Lower hourly rate. Below the Toronto Ferrari dealer rate, with the same OEM parts.
Transparent pricing. We quote the work before we start it. No surprise add-ons at pickup.
Same diagnostic tools. SD3 / Leonardo on the shop floor. We read what the dealer reads.
Factory-trained specialists. Annual service, major belt service, F1 work, PPIs — Ferrari is one of our focuses.

Common questions
Ferrari Service FAQ
Eight things Ferrari owners in K-W ask before they book.
Do you service Ferrari in Kitchener?
Yes. Foreign Automotive is one of the only factory-trained independent Ferrari shops in southwestern Ontario. For owners outside Toronto, we are typically the closest option.
What Ferrari models do you work on?
Every modern Ferrari: 488 GTB / GTS / Pista; F8 Tributo / Spider; 296 GTB / GTS; SF90 Stradale / Spider; Roma; Portofino; GTC4Lusso; 458 Italia / Speciale; California / California T. Older 430 / 360 / 612 on a case-by-case basis.
Will using an independent shop void my Ferrari factory warranty?
No. Canadian consumer law protects your right to service your vehicle at a qualified independent shop without voiding the factory warranty, as long as the work is done to manufacturer specification and proper records are kept. We document everything to SD3 standard.
How does your pricing compare to the Ferrari dealer?
Always lower. Typical customer savings run from 25% up to 60% or more versus the Toronto Ferrari dealer, depending on the job. Same OEM parts, same Shell Helix Ultra factory oil, faster turnaround.
Can you do annual / major service?
Yes. Annual service for modern V8 Ferraris and major service intervals are core work. Belt service on F136 V8 (458 Italia / 458 Speciale), F140 V12, and timing chain work on twin-turbo V8s all done in-house.
Do you do F1 transmission work?
Yes. F1 transmission clutch, TCU adaptation, and selector solenoid work on 430, 458, California, and FF / GTC4Lusso. We have the SD3 tooling and Ferrari-specific procedures.
Do you do Pre-Purchase Inspections?
Yes. PPIs are one of our specialties. Two-day inspection with comprehensive report covering compression, leak-down, F1 health, body, paint, suspension, and history. Worth every dollar before a six-figure purchase.
Do you offer transport or pickup for out-of-town Ferraris?
Yes. We coordinate flatbed transport with operators trained on low-clearance and air-suspension exotics. We do not recommend roadside-assistance services that aren't specialized — they can damage the car during loading.
