Are Antigravity lithium batteries a direct replacement for my car's factory battery?

Yes. Antigravity RE-START automotive batteries are built in exact OEM group sizes — H5/Group-47, H6/Group-48, H7/Group-94R, H8/Group-49, T6/L2 and more — so they drop straight into the factory location with no trays, spacers or modifications. What is RE-START technology?

RE-START is Antigravity's built-in jump-starting system. The battery's intelligent Battery Management System monitors charge and, if it senses over-discharge, sleeps while reserving enough energy to start your car. Press the included wireless key-fob (or the button on the battery), start the engine and drive away — no jump pack or roadside call required.

How much weight will I save versus a lead-acid battery?

Antigravity lithium batteries are up to 70 percent lighter than the lead-acid unit they replace — typically 25 to 55 lb of instant weight loss. Removing that mass improves handling, braking and acceleration, making it one of the most cost-effective performance upgrades available.

Can I charge it with my existing battery charger?

No — lithium (LiFePO4) batteries require a lithium-compatible charger. Antigravity's multi-function Super-Chargers (SC-2, SC-4, SC-10) are built for the job and also handle 6V and 12V lead-acid batteries, with a built-in voltage tester and digital display. Using a lead-acid-only charger can damage a lithium battery.

Will a lithium battery trigger warning lights in my Porsche, Ferrari or BMW?

Most performance cars run an Antigravity RE-START battery without issue thanks to its onboard BMS. Some late-model exotics use battery-monitoring electronics that expect a lead-acid or AGM battery — for these we offer vehicle-specific conversion kits so the lithium battery integrates cleanly with no fault codes.
